The Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library is pleased to announce the promotion of Thomas Vorenkamp to the position of Information Technology Manager. Vorenkamp began his career with Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library in February 2022 as a System Support Specialist. Since February 2023, he has served as the Interim IT Manager.
Before his employment at MPHPL, he worked in IT Services for the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Notre Dame. Vorenkamp attended IU South Bend and graduated from Penn High School, where he met his wife, Lindsey. The two began dating while they were high school library student assistants. They have been married since 2019 and enjoy raising their rescue feline fur babies, Tim the Enchanter and Deckard Cain.
