Bittersweet Branch Courtyard

The Bittersweet Branch Courtyard filled with lush trees, flowers and plants with ample outdoor seating.

The courtyard at the Bittersweet Branch is a perfect oasis for relaxing in a peaceful environment. Renovations were completed in the summer of 2021 to include a small, stepped amphitheater, creating a multifunctional space for reading, seasonal library programs, and future theater, musical, or other types of performances. The outdoor space provides a safe, fenced-in area with benches and umbrella seating. Patrons are welcome to bring a blanket and a picnic lunch and enjoy the beautiful area during regular hours of operation. Free Wi-Fi is available. The courtyard is accessible from within the building through two doors on the library's north side. Please note the courtyard area is open seasonally and weather permitting.

Harris Branch Courtyard

The Harris Branch Courtyard filled with lush trees and foliage with ample outdoor seating.

The Harris Branch Courtyard is open seasonally and weather permitting during regular hours of operation. Access is available from the main entrance through a hallway that runs along our public restrooms and via a side door in the Adult Services area. During peak seasons, the courtyard includes benches, wrought iron seating and beautiful foliage. Guests can enjoy the picturesque garden area while working, reading or gathering with friends. A pergola provides additional seating and activity space. Patrons are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the beautiful area. Free Wi-Fi is available from the courtyard.

Harris Branch Youth Courtyard

The Harris Branch Youth Courtyard, which borders the Harris Branch Youth Services area, features benches, picnic tables and a freshly manicured landscape.

The Harris Branch Youth Courtyard is open seasonally and weather permitting during regular hours of operation. The secure outdoor 4,000-square-foot fenced-in space is for families with children. The area features free Wi-Fi, benches, picnic tables and a beautiful landscape. Access to the Youth Courtyard is available via a side door in the Youth Services area. This outdoor space provides more opportunities for families to use the library. Families are welcome to bring a blanket, pack a picnic and make the most of this beautiful area.
