INSPIRE Offers Free Online Library Access for Indiana Residents
INSPIRE is an online lifelong learning library for all Indiana residents that can be accessed by visiting inspire.in.gov. The Indiana State Library provides INSPIRE at no cost to all Indiana residents.
MPHPL Changes for St. Joe County Public Library Reciprocal Borrowers
In January 2022, St. Joe County Public Library (SJCPL) established an annual charge of $50 to our Mishawaka patrons. In response, on January 20, 2022, the Board of Trustees of the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library moved to reciprocate St. Joe County Public Library’s decision to introduce a $50 fee to MPHPL patrons.

Beloved Rabbit is Back on Display at Mishawaka Library
When renovations finished in 2018, MPHPL Director Donna Meeks recalls that Roland Morin, a longtime serving board member, insisted that the bunny statue return and be part of the new children’s area. “It was important to him that the tradition be continued and we were more than happy to honor his wishes,” said Meeks.
