Free Radon Kits Available at MPHPL for St. Joseph County Residents
MPHPL has partnered with the St. Joseph County Department of Health to help spread the word about their important Radon-Free Homes Initiative. Residents can visit any MPHPL location during operating hours to pick up a free radon test kit at the front desk, courtesy of the St. Joseph County Department of Health.
Harris Branch Youth Courtyard Now Open
The Harris Branch Youth Courtyard is now open! Families with children can access the courtyard from inside the Children’s area. The secure outdoor 4,000-square-foot fenced-in area features free Wi-Fi, benches and picnic tables. Families are welcome to bring a blanket, pack a picnic and make the most of this beautiful area during our Harris Branch operating hours.
MPHPL Receives $500 Donation to Purchase Youth Books
The downtown Mishawaka Library has a new collection of books about sustainability for children thanks to three University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business students. The trio donated $500 to purchase 41 books in various fiction and non-fiction titles to fit the scope of climate change-related topics for learners in grades six and under.
