Inspired by the success of the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program, MPHPL is proud to announce a new initiative to help motivate readers. Starting in September, students will be able to join one of our year-round Books Before… challenges listed below:
- 200 Books Before Middle School
- 60 Books Before High School
- 50 Books Before Graduation
Details about how the Books Before… program works will be revealed during the second week of August on our website and social media.
Books Before… Reading Challenge Kickoff!
Save the date: Saturday, September 13, from 10-11:30 a.m. students in grades K-12 are invited to attend our Books Before… Reading Challenge Kickoff! event at the downtown Mishawaka Library. Students who attend will learn all about our Books Before… program and will be able to sign up. No registration is required to attend the kickoff.
