MPHPL to Host Indiana Author Rebecca McKanna

MPHPL is excited to announce that author Rebecca McKanna will speak at the downtown Mishawaka Library on Thursday, June 26. Her debut novel, Don’t Forget the Girl, was awarded the 2024 Indiana Authors Award for Genre Fiction.
MPHPL to Host Groundbreaking Black Hoosiers Traveling Exhibit

In celebration of Juneteenth, MPHPL will honor the resilience and achievements of African Americans by hosting the Groundbreaking Black Hoosiers traveling exhibit. The exhibit will be on display from June 16 to June 21 in the Heritage Room of the downtown Mishawaka Library.

Learn about the Holocaust through Students’ Artwork and Creative Writing

MPHPL is proud to partner with The Kurt and Tessye Simon Fund for Holocaust Remembrance to host The People Next Door: Witnessing the Holocaust, a student art and creative writing contest. An Exhibition Opening and Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 5 to 6:45 p.m. at the downtown Mishawaka Library.
