About the Program

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails a hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book free to registered children under the age of five every month. The Community Foundation of St. Joseph County has funded the program in our area since its launch in 2018. As of April 2026, Imagination Library is available in all 92 counties in Indiana. This means that every Hoosier child, under age 5, in every zip code across the state of Indiana now has access to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! MPHPL proudly partners with The Community Foundation of St. Joseph County in promoting the program.

Eligibility

Children must be under the age of five and live in Indiana. For more information, visit the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County’s FAQ page.
