Freegal® is a free music service provided by the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library. Since 2010, Freegal Music has been one of the most popular public library offerings in the world. All you need is your MPHPL library card number and a four-digit PIN. Freegal offers access to more than 18 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists and over 40,000 music videos. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 93,000 labels with music that originates in over 100 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Access to Freegal is limited to patrons of subscribing libraries. Freegal is available on Mac or PC, iPad and mobile devices, including iOS and Android.
You can choose from our multi-lingual interfaces: Freegal is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. And most importantly, all of Freegal services are ad-free!
If you have an Apple device you will be able to download the Freegal App by doing a search for “Freegal Music” in the App Store.
If you have an Android device you will be able to search for “Freegal Music” in the Google Play store. Please note, while many Android devices successfully run the Freegal Music app, not all Android devices are compatible.
