Individual Study Rooms—Adult Department Individual study rooms are available to individuals or to small groups. No more than four adults or high school students are permitted in a room at one time. No more than two students in grades seven and eight are permitted in a room at one time. Please sign up at the reference desk. The librarian will unlock the door for you. Study rooms may be reserved up to one month ahead of time. Reservations should be made with the reference librarian. If a scheduled party does not show up within ten minutes of the reserved time, the room will be made available to the next person requesting a study room. No food or drink is permitted in the study rooms. No smoking allowed. Electric outlets are available for patrons wishing to plug in a laptop or calculator. Music may be played only on headsets. There is a time limit of two hours per day; the reference librarian must approve a longer time. Patrons are required to leave the rooms neat and clean. Please let the reference librarian know when you are finished so the room can be checked. 12/6/02
