Winter Reading Program

Winter Reading Program

Chill Out and Read in January by playing a game of BINGO. Join us at MPHPL for our Winter Reading Program for children from Birth through 5th Grade. Stop in at any of our locations and visit the Youth Services Desk for your BINGO card. Prizes or food coupons will be handed out for each BINGO. Children can earn up to five BINGO’s during the Winter Reading Program.

Reading is just important in the winter months as it is during the summer. Interacting with your children while reading books demonstrates how important reading is and that it is worthy of our attention. Reading during the winter can help improve and maintain literacy skills. So sit back and read while the snow is falling. Help your child be a reader for life!

Don’t forget to ask your librarian for a book suggestion to fill in one of your BINGO squares. Winter Reading BINGO ends January 31 and final prize redemption is February 2, 2019.
