National Novel Writing Month

Have you been thinking about writing a novel?  If so, now might be a good time to give it a try.   November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), during which aspiring authors try to write 50,000 words in one month.  On NaNoWriMo ‘s website, you can learn more about this event, meet other authors, keep track of your progress and learn about upcoming events.   Many published authors’ works have begun as NanoWriMo projects.  One of the most famous is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.

While you are working on your project, MPHPL can help you with resources related to novel writing.  You can come browse our display at our Mishawaka location or find a list of our most recent resources for writers on our NaNoWriMo recommended reads list.  Best of luck with your writing projects!
