Configuring Wireless Cards - Windows Vista

If you use Windows Vista as your operating system, please follow these instructions to configure your wireless card.

Step 1

Make sure your wireless device is enabled.
Note: There may be a LED light indication on the light panel showing that Wifi is enabled.

Step 2

At the bottom right of your computer screen, click on the Network tray icon. Then select Connect to a Network.

Step 3

A list of detected wireless networks will appear:

Step 4

Select "MPHPLPUB" and Click "Connect"
Note: Windows will warn that MPHPLPUB is an unsecured network. Select Connect Anyway.

Step 5

Once you have successfully connected to MPHPLPUB, checkmark the boxes to Save this network and Start this connection automatically. Then close the window.
Note: Doing so will save you time from performing these steps above next time you want to reconnect to MPHPLPUB wireless network.

Step 6

Open your web browser of choice (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc.)
