Configuring Wireless Cards - Windows 7

If you use Windows 7 as your operating system, please follow these instructions to configure your wireless card.

Step 1

Make sure your wireless device is enabled.
Note: There may be a LED light indication on the light panel showing that Wifi is enabled.

Step 2

At the bottom right of your computer screen, click on the Network tray icon.

Step 3

A list of detected wireless networks will appear:

Step 4

Select "MPHPLPUB" and Click "Connect"
Note: Windows will warn that MPHPLPUB is an unsecured network. If you would like this connection to start automatically next time, check the box next to “Connect automatically."

A progress window will appear while the connection is being established.

Step 5

Once you have successfully connected to MPHPLPUB the icon in the system tray will change to show that it is now connected.

Step 6

Open your web browser of choice (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc.)
