Our Mission: Acquire, organize, and disseminate needed informational, cultural, recreational, and educational materials, and to provide related services and programs to patrons of all ages.
Funded by your property tax dollars, the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library owns over 460,000 items in a variety of formats to meet the needs of over 85,000 residents of Penn and Harris Townships.
A seven-member governing board represents your interests in the library. The school boards of the Mishawaka and Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporations, the County Council, and the County Commissioners appoint members.
Over 90 staff members work in Circulation, Computer, Reference, Media, Young Adult, Children's, and Technical Services to turn your tax dollars into some of the best informational and recreational services available.
