MPHPL Book Sales Through
Better World Books
The Friends of the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library and Better World Books partnered to make it easier for the public to purchase books originally sold at the library's major book sales.
Instead of shopping for books only six times a year during the book sales, you can go online at www.betterworldbooks.com/MPHPL any day of the year and purchase the book you want. A percentage of money for each MPHPL book sold will go to the Friends of the Library.
Better World Books collects and sells books online to fund literacy initiatives worldwide. They were founded in 2002 by three friends from the University of Notre Dame who started selling textbooks online to earn some money, and ended up forming a pioneering social enterprise, a business with a mission to promote literacy.
