Teen Summer Reading Program 2012
June 1 through July 31
The Young Adult Summer Reading Program is open to students in grades 7-12.
**Register for the Summer Reading Program between June 1 and June 9, 2012 and be entered in a drawing to win free admission tickets to the St. Joseph County Fair!
Teens may stop by the Reference Services desk at any MPHPL location and pick up a reading record bookmark or download the bookmark below. Slips must be returned to the Reference desk. For every 10 hours read, you may turn in one reading slip and enter in a mid-summer drawing and a grand prize drawing that will be held at the end of the program. Invalid entries will be discarded.
**Win free food at Del Taco after you turn in your first 10 hours of reading (while supplies last).
Identical prizes will be given at all MPHPL locations, but only one prize may be won per person. All participants will be entered for the Grand Prize Drawing.
All reading slips must be turned in at the Reference Services desk by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 31, 2012. Winners will be notified by mail and a list of winners will be posted on Thursday, August 2, 2012.
Reading materials must be checked out from the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library system, but can come from any area of the library. Items checked out should be at or above your reading level. If you are entering grade 7, you may choose between participating in the children’s program or the young adult program, but you may not participate in both programs or switch programs in the middle of the summer.
Additional reading record bookmarks will be available here and at the Reference Services desk at all MPHPL locations through July 30.
Watch for special events with games, fun, and food scheduled throughout the Summer Reading Program!
