Downtown Mishawaka Library
Laugh as you watch the leaves change color on the trees as you read the story Fall is Not Easy by Marty Kelley. Then make your own colorful fall tree to take home.
Bittersweet Branch Library
Join us in celebrating fall by reading Fall is not Easy by Marty Kelley and Fall Leaves Fall! by Zoe Hall. Make your own 3-D tree to take home decorated with tissue paper in fall colors.
Harris Branch Library
In September the sharing box features Mouse's First Fall by Lauren Thompson. One cool day Mouse and Minka venture out to play. From leaves of all colors - red, yellow, orange, and brown - to leaves of all shapes and sizes - from pointy to round - Mouse learns that fall is a season full of fun! Before the day is done he just might take the biggest "leap" of all. Enjoy reading the story. Then make your own leaf rubbing picture to take home.
