For books or other materials the library does not own, you may request an Interlibrary Loan. This service is available only to Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Library cardholders
residing or owning property in Penn or Harris Township as well as fee cardholders.
It usually takes 1-2 weeks to obtain materials through Interlibrary Loan. You will be contacted through phone, mail, or email (your choice) when your material is ready for pickup. The loan period is four weeks and there are no renewals.
We do not accept requests for CD-ROMs, or entertainment videos and DVDs. We will, however, take requests for non-fiction videos and DVDs, such as, documentaries, exercise, travel, etc.
Every effort is made to obtain materials free of charge. If for any reason this cannot be done, you will be contacted or told at the time of the request.
